After the success of the 1st International Workshops on Advances in Computational Mechanics (IWACOM) held at Hosei University, Tokyo, Japan, in 2004, the 2nd IWACOM held at PACIFICO Yokohama, Yokohama, Japan, in 2010, and the 3rd IWACOM held at KFC Hall & Rooms, Ryogoku, Tokyo, Japan, in 2015, we are pleased to announce that the 4th IWACOM will be held at Kitakyushu International Conference Center at Kitakyushu, Japan during September 18-20, 2024.
The purpose of this meeting of workshops is to provide an international forum for recent developments in selected fields of research in computational mechanics by bringing together researchers from all over the world. All the workshops are intended to provide chances for intensive discussions about their own selected topics and identify future directions for the development of related modeling strategies and computational techniques. Innovative presentations pertaining to each workshop are all invited, but participants for auditing only are also welcomed.
